Rooter 2000 began working with us because their existing provider, who had built a custom solution for their dispatch needs, had simply disappeared on them. This left them with software that wasn't quite working correctly, and desperately needed improvement. When we approached Rooter 2000, we knew they had a small set of needs and that we could help.

Our journey with them began by reviewing their current solution and discussing the issues they were experiencing. Our solution was simple. We would deploy our off-the-shelf solution, and add some modifications that addressed the issues they had with their existing software. By doing this we were able to meet their needs, as well as add new features for future clients of CloudLink.

Our first goal was to give them easy access to their work order history, and ensure they could get to service history quickly and easily. Second, we helped them with their dispatch needs by allowing them to send dispatches as text messages to their technicians. We also enabled a few other features allowing technicians to take photos from the field, and make notes when necessary.

The crowing feature we added for their solution was an easy to use drag-and-drop dispatch board that allowed them to easily move, set, and schedule appointments for their day, as well as track the statuses by color. By adding GPS locations to this, and mapping features we made their planning much easier, and helped them to solve their problems with old forgotten software.
